Another step towards destroying the little that is left of the amateur feel of college athletics, there will soon be company logos on most college uniforms awarded to the highest bidder just like we see on all the damn pro teams. This is going to happen whether it be this year or next, it will happen soon unfortunately. Probably will not even be able to buy a jersey without a damn ad logo on it

If it gives additional funds to the athletic dept I'm all for it.

I had sponsors on hats and jerseys from tee ball thru Pony League, and on every softball team I've ever played on. But, oh no, it's gonna ruin this "amateur" game!!!****

Well saw another high priced Arch Ad tonight. Not bad for someone who hasn't won anything yet.

I just hope it doesn't make it to the commentators - "It will be 3rd and short for the Bulldogs brought to you by State Farm"......

Radio has been doing that for years.

I mean that's no different than hearing, "Bulldogs now 1st and 10 in the Case IH Redzone" or "The Sonic Drive of the Game will be my drive home back to Tupelo."

Best closeout ever. i spit out my drink when I heard him say that. Bow about Ads heck they already do it. Nike, Addais and other apparel companies have been doing it for decades.

How about, "QB and Receiver didn't seem to be on the same page, but it's only the 10th game of the season." Miss Jack. Introduced my elementary age son to him in the late Gloster 205 in Tupelo one night. You could cut the smoke in there with a knife and Jack was doing his part. Jack could have easily gotten us a sponcership from RJ Reynolds!

At this point there is no going back so might as well go full in. I don't like where we are but as long as it don't take money from me, go right ahead.

At some point, the free market will correct. The sponsor will have to raise his prices to pay for said sponsoree and either his price sticks or it don't then sponsor is gone again. We purchasers will buy the same product cheaper from someone else.

"Chris Relf can throw it far. He cannot throw it accurately, but he can throw it far"

This was in response to Relf, not trying to, and throwing it into about the 3rd row of the stands.

My question would be is how big a check is Tyler Jordan cutting to make RealTree the jersey sponsor for Ole Miss.
