In his last 3 games, Craig Sword is 26 of 35 shooting with 13 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 turnovers, 10 steals and 70 points. Pretty good.

Sword is coming on and becoming a good player.
Roq Johnson is playing ok this season
Ware is not bad

Borchert was really shooting the ball well at the end of last season- playing pretty well. So far this year? Awful
FTF? Can run, jump, and is a streaky shooter. Getting nothing out of him
IJ Ready has been hurt some- him getting healthy will help alot.
Bloodman is still awful
Davis needs to get well
Applewhite needs to improve asap.

Hopefully Roq is not hurt bad and some of these other guys can start helping Sword and Ware, There is no excuse in this team not defending though. Needs to be balls out effort for 40 mins

"not defending" has to be the most troubling part right now. tough defense is usually an aspect of the coach's mentality, coaching and the team buying into what he is teaching. that's what we saw last year but for some reason, that part has dropped off. not a good sign at all.

Don't completely agree on Ware. He started the season very strong but has looked absolutely lost trying to gain post position as of late. But sadly, he is one of our better players.

He's our only post player and we have no shooters. Makes it tough. Sword is a player though.

I think we are struggling to adjust to the new foul rules... We're playing timid defensively because we're scared of foul trouble. Then, that's also manifesting itself on the offensive side with Fred Thomas and Ware. Ray has made our team scared to turn loose on 3s. If they have a twinge of doubt that he may pull them out of the game for a shot when they release the ball -- they aren't going to make that shot very often.

Just growing pains. It sucks -- but it is what it is. Same exact thing we went through for a couple of painful years in baseball.

Yet a large portion of our fanbase continues to demand "our best coaches evAr" deserve the right to totally tear our programs down to the point that it's a couple years of total brutality for the new guys. And if those new guys aren't the RIGHT guys? Then, you are looking at closer to a decade worth of a rebuild.
