Life Hack Needed: Getting a free phone from CSpire

Went to the local CSpire store yesterday to get a new phone. Long time subscriber, so I thought that might carry some good will with it.

Was planning on getting a lower model iPhone with 512 memory.

The guy says it would be close to $1,000.

Seems like they always have promotions for free phones. Guess that's just for new subscribers.

He did suggest waiting until September when the new iPhone comes out.

Question for the Board: does anybody know how to get a free phone from CSpire?

Leave and go to another carrier and then come back months later

The only way to get a free phone is to transfer to a new carrier/provider and hope that your current phone carries enough value to trade in in a free phone

There is 0 value in loyalty for telecomms internet or tv. Switch to a new provider with how easy it is to port your number over you can do it in 20 min from your couch. I do this at least once a year

Man, just go with US Mobile. I pay $18/month for me and the wife. You can pick which carrier network you want.

ETA: It's only 1 GB each, $2 for each additional one. Your phone has a 'data history' chart. At least android does. I bet 90+% of people on these unlimited plans don't use much data without wifi.
