Through 2.1 OSU has hit the HR cycle. Solo, 2 run, 3 run, and a slam.

Murray State! Let's Go.

State of Kentucky making noise this season.

Mississippi had 3 teams, zero CWS, but three regional finals.
Florida 4 regional teams, zero CWS, two supers
Texas with (Tex, DBU, HCU, TCU, TSA) 5 regionals, 1-Super, zero CWS
Arkansas and Arkansas 1 team, CWS for each

Mississippi waters down precious resources that Arkansas and Louisiana do not

The state of Texas is huge with high school players. I know because my nephew is playing 14 and under select and middle school ball. The competition is insane. He plays in Ft.Worth. His dad played for University of Tx at Austin.

The state of Florida is also huge. Maybe not to the extent of Tx. but they play all year long.

If you can’t win in college baseball in either of those states you are not much of a coach.

As Ron Polk said one time, he was talking on the phone to I believe Cal State Fulton head coach. The Cal State Fulton coach said that he had to get off the phone that he had a one hour drive recruiting trip planned for the day. That he was probably going to see at least six high school prospects. Polk said that if he drove 1 hour from Starkville he would be in Houston Ms. with no prospects.
