Well, Pico does have future in pro ball. I'm not saying he is a slam dunk to make it to MLB. He's not with all of the injuries. But I do think he will pitch in pro ball.

I find it hard that a doctor would ever say that in this day and age. Injuries usually cause compensation in mechanics and that can lead to other injuries.

Partial torn labrum you could very well keep velo, initially anyway. If there is no tear or very minor you mostly will keep velo. Know this from personal experience and seen it with multiple pitchers.
