It was impressive because Parker obviously studied the analytics of this decision. Northeastern as a team coming into this game hit only .194 against fastballs with sink that are 92 plus mph, and they had something like a .180 batting average against hard sliders. That's what Ben Davis throws. Davis also holds runners better than any other pitcher we have.

Oh I agree. But now we know his decision was made easier since he didn't have Pico as an option. We are still setup the best we could possibly be due to that decision.

That's not true. There's some truth to it. He is hurt to some extent and Parker was likely getting him another day of rest. Plus it was to create some confusion I'm sure.

I know for a fact that we have had to juggle the rotation before this season when we played a Thurs-Sat series because Pico had a bad bullpen and we didn't want to pitch him on short rest.

I think he is one of those pitchers that needs to the full amount of rest to pitch at his best. At least at this point.

Yes may have made a few bad decision with Bucket Coach and not pulling pitchers, but it happens to a lot. He has been a very good pitching coach, I will say it again, want hurt my feelings if BOC retains him. Regardless getting a new HC will bring life to our program.

This is what I was told two weeks ago, “We have everything in place to move the program to one of the top couple of programs in the country, we just have get the right head coach.”. Now the funding for NIL and support staffs are already in place and we should all be final sometime next week.
