Miss. State went hard to bring in Faith Wylder. She wasn't an easy transfer portal pickup. Had heavy competition and dealing with agent related issues. Appears one of the most athletic 6-6 players and noted rim protectors. She was listed as the class of 2024 sleeper of the whole state of New York. Most of the online writeups around the New York area were listing her as a future impact player on the college level. According to reports she was injured basically her whole freshman season at Stony Brook including not being healthy the few minutes of a few games that she did play. (Note) Preseason Wylder was projected as a possible starter and impact player for Stony Brook. Coaching staff hoping she's another diamond in the rough. Also, Kharyssa Richardson definitely in the mix as well..4 and 5 spots. Rocio Jimenez status and ability?..been injured, shall see.
