Good interview and it?s on Spotify. Definitely worth listening to just bc if you have never heard him speak.

I heard him a couple months ago and thought this guy is well spoken and gets it.

I've spoken to him before and never really got the vibe he ever wanted to be anything more than a pitching coach.

This is a good point and can apply to many coaches. Some coaches don’t want to move up, or don’t need to move up. They simply want to do what they love, which might be teaching a specific skill in a hands-on manner. Like an offensive line coach who has no desire to be an offensive coordinator or head coach because his love is teaching O-line technique.

Dislike hime all you want, but he was one of the best OL coaches we've had. Since he has been gone, we haven't had a decent one.
