Get the bases loaded and one across the plate once they were loaded (finally) but that?s only because of a walk. Which I understand a walk can be just as good as a hit sometimes.

But we all know this team hasn?t been good with RISP this year and showed it because we immediately struck out.

I just don't trust college scouting too much. In the pros, you have tremendous data directly on your phone. In college, not so much.

In a way I can deal with crappy football and basketball better because we've had so much of it over the years at different times. Having to deal with a consistent crapshow in baseball isn't easy though because that's always been the one sport we've been consistently good at aside from maybe a few years at the end of Polk and beginning of Cohen. But with all the fan support and resources we pour into baseball it's beyond sickening to be this bad 3 out of 4 years since winning a title. And I don't want to hear the argument that the SEC is better now when we can't even consistently beat the USMs and Troys of the world. We should be better along with our peers in the SEC anyway but we just don't play a sound brand of baseball. How you can go from 3 straight appearances in Omaha directly to likely not even making the tournament 3 out of 4 years is beyond me.
