The real problem with our baseball program is the double edge sword of those that pay for it. It is an age old problem but one that we have to get our hands around in some fashion. After 23 we all knew that a change should have been made in the leadership of the program. Those that are close to the program would not let that change occur for selfish reasons, which is why we are our own worst enemy again and again. Is it fixable? I don?t know, we need them for the program but they need lighter shades of maroon colored glasses. They must understand that the program has to be bigger than the coaches or particular players. Lastly I very much hope they don?t 17 up the next few weeks which is a distinct possibility. Amen.
