Well we had Mickel Clay in the fold and then someone got into his ear and he started prolonging it so we've moved on from him. Probably looking for 2 more OL, a TE, and would not say no to a CB if one appeared. And as always with Lebby, there's a shot we'll bring in another WR.

I think we feel ok about Steen but it's just too early to tell. I still think we'll have to beat a few teams out for him and I don't really know what our NIL budget looks like at this point

I don't know that for a fact, nor do I know the teams. I just know that generally when kids enter the portal it's because a few teams have reached out about them.

More a knock that we don't seem to come out on top when we have to beat a few teams out for anyone.

Oh that's how I took it. I really don't know what the market is on this kid. I just have to assume we're not the only bidder. Hell, that might worry me more than getting into a bidding match with someone.

Yeah that is the last thing we need. If he were elite or 5* I'd say don't even waste the time.

But he doesn't have to be elite for me to still have my doubts if we are up against any SEC school or even another halfway attractive big 10/ACC school.

I just don't know what we have to sell at the moment other than playing time. If we getting outbid or matched with NIL, which I'm sure we are, showcasing you on Saturday's is all we can upsell with. I just feel like transfers and recruits don't have enough to go with after one season under Lebby.

Well but it's a chance to play in the SEC. And PT and a chance to play, and start, in this conference is enough for a lot of guys.
