Rory finally gets the elusive Grand Slam, winning the Masters in a playoff over Justin Rose.

He becomes only the sixth golfer to ever accomplish it.

It truly was amazing to watch. His raw emotion having accomplished the Grand Slam in his eleventh try was both real and palpable.

I have to believe there was a lot of emotion roiling in his head. Thought he might let it get away from him for a little bit there and that would have been hard to watch.

11 years of getting asked WTF had to be weighing on him coming down that stretch. But to his credit he made the shots when he had to.

His 18th was crazy. Hit a good drive only to put it in the sand. Then hit a great shot out of the bunker to miss a make able punt that would win it.

Only to come back on the same hole to win.

The shot he hit in the playoff hole to get inside Rose?s ball was phenomenal. Following up a guy that just knocked one stiff ina playoff for a major was intense.

He striped one down the middle with his driver on 18 on his final hole and I thought it was over. Then he proceeded to hit his 2nd or 3rd horrible wedge in a row. He hit the same club in the water on 13 after laying up and then in the bunker at 18 from 125 yds from middle of fairway on the left side which opened up the hole.

I was shocked that he hit driver to give him that same wedge shot to almost the exact same spot in the playoff. He stepped up and hit a beauty and made the putt. Talk about some mind games, his head had to be spinning.

I am not sure but I think he will go on to win another this year and maybe one next year.
