Mississippi State sent four squads to the National Cheer Association (NCA) collegiate championships being held in Daytona Beach.
Dance team came in 2nd (they were robbed in my opinion)
All girls cheer 3rd
Co-ed cheer intermediate came in 1st
Co-ed cheer game day 1st
My granddaughter is on one of the cheerleaders teams that won first place. So very proud of her. Not is she drop dead gorgeous but smart. She is a senior this year and graduate this spring. She has already been accepted to law school with a nice scholarship.

If you know one of the team members or see one of them please tell them congratulations! They worked their tails off to achieve this!

The new cheer coach has really turned them around. The cheer squad at State was looked at as kind of a laughingstock around the country since they did not compete anymore. Kudos to them for really turning things around in short order.
