Was riding on a starting pitcher who has an ERA north of 7 with command issues.

That's what Chris Lemonis is facing today.

Well it's his decision to start that pitcher. We have other options.

Lemonis doesn't care. He knows he's a lame duck coach and has a free pass/paycheck until the end of the season. It's a comedy show now.

We're currently sitting at a -170 today. So, I'm guessing that Vegas is expecting a lot of offense?

He put us in position to have to run that guy out there so I don't really feel sorry for him.

We should've been more aggressive with starting pitchers in the portal. I know the guy we were counting on from Kentucky got drafted, but ultimately, he and Parker looked at this staff and decided it was good enough.

And apparently Pruitt is going to be a total nonfactor. Another portal fail.

before the season started he was saying that we were having to money ball the portal because we didn't have the funds that other teams did. Don't know if that's an excuse or the truth.

Well given he's done nothing but give excuses for 4 years now, I'll go with that.
