My first ever english bulldog.
Born 10/11/14. The day we beat Auburn to become #1 in the nation. She saw us win a national championship in baseball and play for womens championship twice.

Our beautiful english bulldog, Bella passed away late last night. She was our child and meant the world to us. My first dog as an adult and our first together. English bulldogs are a truly special breed and pack so much love, quirkiness, and stubbornness in their little bodies. Especially Bella, she was born the runt of the litter and the only one to survive childbirth. Born of two akc registered parents , she had amazing genetics but had an umbilical hernia so wasn't "desired". We took her in from a friend and gave her a home.
Bella loved going on car rides with us and became the unofficial greeter of several wineries over the years because she loved humans and ignored other dogs. All she wanted was to be loved on and spoiled with treats and toys and most of all with us. We miss our little girl so much. The house is so quiet without the loud snores echoing thru the halls.
10/11/14 - 3/31/25

This has hit me very very hard.

Can't get the links to work correctly. But here are a couple of photos. Truly blessed.

That is tough. Sorry to hear about your loss Scooba. Been through it several times and it never gets easier when you are a big dog person.

Sorry for your loss. I still miss our Bulldog and it has been over a decade. We haven't gotten another dog because my wife had to take off a week when he passed away. It is rough losing anything that you love.

Sorry for your loss my friend. We lost our yorkie in October, he was 17. I will say not a day goes by; I still tear up over my baby. But as time goes by, it gets a little easier. I think of all the wonderful times he gave me that I'll always have. Prayers sent my friend..

We had an English Bulldog named Bella, amazing dog. Crossed the rainbow bridge during early covid. She had just turned 8 a few months prior.

<---- photo over there of her as a young lady on campus

Sorry for your loss.

Good run for an English bulldog. I lost one many years ago. It sucks.
