I am ready for Lemonis to go. I am concerned we make a run and we do this again next year.

They should feel like shit for playing shitty.
Trout is hitting .189 in SEC play
Ligon couldnt make it out of the 1st inning last night
Grant couldnt finish an inning
McPherson sucked on Friday when we needed a good outing
We struck out 3 times with the bases loaded and no outs on Friday
Nobody is clutch at the plate
They should feel very shitty about their performance

and do we need to be reminded who is responsible for recruiting, assessing and ultimately getting baseball players to come to MSU? can we find a common denominator?

Kudos Coach. I could not have said it that diplomatically.

The coach receives the ultimate blame of course. But players have to perform
Jan didnt make or miss a 3 pointer this past season.
Lebby didnt throw a single incompletion or interception.
Lemon will get things straight or he will likely be fired. But the players have to perform.

We have had a high level of players not perform to expectations since Lemonis has been here. We have had a high level of players who seem to progress quickly once drafted too, especially pitchers. At some point you got to wonder...

This. I mean, we have legit guys in this lineup who, if they were play for Tennessee or Georgia, they would probably already have 10 plus home runs and a lower strike out rate/chase rate. See Slate Alford.
I?m not one that goes around calling for a coaching change until it becomes something that is obviously an issue. Well, this baseball program is 36-63 in SEC games over the past four years. We have been unable to sustain success after winning the championship in 2021.

Alford got further away from his crazy ass dad and that has helped him more than anything.

It's a question frequently asked when a team is playing poorly.

Just waiting for the closed door players only meeting to happen/ Don't like those but for this season to be salvaged somebody on this team is going to have to develop a pair and get this team motivated. And right now there are only 2 players who probably can do this without being to to F off.

34 is right about one thing. Lemon can instruct these kids on fielding all day long but until they hold each other accountable errors will happen and the DGAS attitude for some of these players will continue.

Those two have probably been on the team for a couple of years now and haven?t even remotely shown that they can step up and be a team leader. They?ve had plenty of low points to do it over the past few seasons as well.
We haven?t had a player that has a set of nuts on him big enough to lead the locker room since TA and Rowdey

Worst thing in baseball was pitching and your SS or 3rd baseman flips you the ball they just booted and goes "my bad"

It starts with the head coach setting the tone and leading by example.
We all see what we have there.

Croom coached from a golf cart. Lemonis coaches from a bucket. Coincidence, I don't think so.*****

"It's a coaching issue" and "the players have to perform" are one and the same. Say we have a pitcher in and he gets shelled: if he failed to "perform" because he's untalented, it's on the coach for recruiting and playing him. If he got shelled because he was left in too long, well it's still technically him failing to perform, but the coaches didn't put him in the spot that maximized his odds. Similarly, let's say we're batting and we pinch hit a lefty vs their lefts pitcher. Our man strikes out. He "failed to perform", but the coach put him in a bad spot. Or say a talented player never puts it together while at State- that's still on the coaches for not developing him.
As you say, all runs and outs are made by the players on the field. It's the coaches job to recruit and develop guys that will perform. And if we constantly choke in bit moments that's on the coaches culture too...
