That's twice in this game the batters have had called strikes against them because they aren't ready and it subsequently was the 3rd strike for Cupp. Runners on 2nd and third with no out and we don't score a run. Strikeouts by Stallman, Stevens and Cupp and we fail to take the lead.

It's basically that way every game. It's almost like the pitchers and hitters get together pregame to figure what runs we will score and give up to ensure losing a close game. Not sure the overall record in games decided by 3 runs or less but in the SEC it's 1-6 and the other loss was by 4 runs. By the laws of probability it's almost impossible to lose this many tightly contested games but we have been able to overcome those odds.
