Tons of stingy defense - 12 TOs caused in the first half. It's how we jumped to and maintained the lead.

Funky cold Madina had some jitters early. If she can settle down we can win this game and pose a problem for USC.

Montague injury looked bad. Hope she's alright but I'm guessing something is torn.

State has a team in the postseason winning by double digits and playing on ESPN2. And the board is crickets. If we were losing there'd be so many calls for firing Purcell.

We have a tough USC game next against arguably the best player in the nation, Juju Watkins... gonna be tough but I'm proud we got that win against a good Cal team

Yes it would be, we have a common opponent in Ole Miss. USC beat them by 2 points early in the season. It really doesn't mean much at this point though

I watched but was taking a break from the board after the men's game. Great job by our women. They did what our men couldn't do.

Good win for Purcell and our team! I read a while back Purcell is mainly recruiting, and his assistants were doing the xx and o's. I saw this yesterday during timeouts, Purcell wasn't involved with setting up defense or drawing up situations for the offense, he stood outside of the huddle. Not sure I have seen this before but whatever works I am for it. Maybe Purcell understands his weakness, I like him and wish much success for him and team.
