It's hard to say exactly what's wrong with Lemonis but this is probably it. Just lack of attention to details in all facets of the program.

He is a Double A ball coach and runs his program that way. Lack of discipline and trying to play too many guys. Had always been his problem. It worked well when you had some senior leadership and a culture that Cohen and Cann established-but once their guys left you have what we have now. Buddy system, lack of discipline.

That should have been a blowout, had 17 hits and scored 11 runs. 5 errors and at least 2 more that cost us runs killed it. Valiant fight back, kids showed a lot of sac. That said you can not give away outs or miss on double play balls, that is going to lose every time.

I dont understand how anyone can defend it after seeing the exact same thing three years in a row now. I mean you have to either be on the staff or financially tied to them to defend this.

This game was eye opening the kids showed they have grit and are tough as nails to claw back into it. But this is the SEC you better be damn near perfect in the routine layups to make it and that tone should be set at the top.

Coach knows a lot more than I do about the game, our history and what goes on behind the scenes; I respect that and am glad he's here with us. He can be a little dogmatic at times but it's always entertaining. Hope I get a chance to have a beer and a burger with him someday and get some really unvarnished Coach perspective!! LOL!!

That is a huge problem. This is baseball. There?s a reason why anyone who knows the game knows certain coaching decisions are no-brainers. Lemonis does dumb crap and goes against this all the time, and his success rate is very low.

It was a HUGE portal failure not to get AT LEAST one more SEC quality starter for this team . We really don't have anything behind Pico and we knew we needed a starter or two out of the portal after losing our top 2 starters from last year and couldn't get it. Gonna be an issue all year. Bullpen wasn't good today either but we should have never gotten into a 7-0 hole.

Not to get into the pissing match going on here but every single person on this board knows it's up to the players to make the plays....To say otherwise is well, stupid.......Furthermore, every person on this board also understand it's the coaches job to recruit the right kind of players, develop them, and to create the right culture.......I, like a lot of others here have questions about some of those things......You can't argue that our coaching staff seems to make some dumb moves........It's not just the errors, it's the baserunning blunders, it's starting a guy like Davis in SEC play, it's pinch hitting Stevens for Downs creating a lefty/lefty matchup (Stevens subsequently hits into the DP), it's not bringing the corner infielders up in the first inning and letting Reese play back and it cost us additional runs.......You can't expect the coaches to be perfect but when you do dumb shit and lose games like this you open yourself up to criticism and it's justifiable........Bottom line is this, this team has "potential" but that's just a fancy word meaning you haven't done shit yet.....Winning cures all but lose tomorrow and the seat heater gets turned on.......
