Davis struggled throwing strikes. Other than that, it wasn't awful but wasn't great either. Pretty meh.

Last week wasn't really a pitching disaster, the team failed to hit just as bad. Plus the baserunner. Plus the Hero ball. Downs, Reece, and Chance did not hit. I don't mention HH because nobody is expecting any hitting there.

By game, MSU lead in 7th, tied in the 7th, and was down by 1 in the 7th.

Hungate did have a Disastrous game.

Thanks man! Yea not a terrible set of starts. I don’t think it was pitching that was the major issue throughout the weekend. For the most part it’s men left on base. We are once again atrocious with men on. Thanks gotro!! We all are super pumped because we are actually a middle of the road hitting team this year. An improvement. Smh.

I guess the point I was trying to make was I don?t trust the team to put a good pitching and hitting performance together on both Saturday and Sunday where we will win both games consistently. I trust Pico to keep the score low enough on Friday that even if we aren?t hitting great we?ll still have a chance to win the Friday night game every weekend.

If we don?t win on Friday nights, it feels like our chances of taking the series by winning on both Saturday and Sunday are slim to none.

Our rotation is an issue.

They're not awful. But they're not elite compared to some of the other starters in the SEC.

Pico is a solid number 2 starter.

Ben Davis let the moment get too big for him last Sunday. He has to learn how to perform in the SEC. Ability isn't the issue. Just don't let it get too big. It's just baseball.

Ligon probably won't be starting much longer if I had to guess.
