Heard today that Pruitt was out and Stallman was doubtful.
Lemon said last week that Foster was sore and we may see him soon.
Stone hasn?t pitched in 12 days.

Anybody got any intel on what?s going on with those guys?

Hence the reason two 7-inning games on Sunday may be preferred by State this weekend. I'm down with that.

Our bullpen is our strength.
Texas?s weakness is their bullpen.
It is certainly NOT our preference to have 2 shortened games.

Bigbub was alluding to Pruitt, Foster and Stone were potentially having health issues... hence, our strong bullpen may be somewhat limited, therefore two 7-inning games could be a benefit. Luckily, Stone pitched a solid scoreless inning in our Game 1 loss.

I saw Foster in the bullpen in Biloxi. I wouldn't be surprised if he pitches midweek. Stone pitched today obviously.

Not sure about Pruitt.

On a positive health note, it's good to see Downs finally healthy. Dude has had 7 surgeries since his Jr year of high school.

I don't think any of us know what to expect. But we must win at least one and be at least competitive if we lose the other today. Two losses in total to Texas by one or two runs won't spell doom but it certainly won't give us a warm fuzzy feeling about this team. Get swept and we start rending our clothes and gnashing our teeth.

I agree - Today may have as much affect on the season as any. I would take a competitive split at this point based on what I've seen so far. I predicted them to come in here and spank our tales and I would love to eat crow.
