I’ve now seen Hines hit more balls to center and left in last 5 games than I have last 2 years combined. Really encouraged by him making adjustments. Also flashing a lot of glove at 1b.

6 of their 10 losses are by 10 runs or more. 2 of those are 21-2 loss to Northern Illinois and 19-0 loss to La Tech. Not sure how that affects this matchup but really surprised State has O'Brien, Cupp, and Owen batting in the same lineup. If the depth is going to show up, now would be the time.
