Ligon and Pruitt. Pruitt looked really good midweek and has more experience than the freshmen that could potentially work their way into the rotation later in the year. Ligon throwing the ball to the backstop multiple times is enough for me. His command just isn?t there. We will see about Stone. The jury is still out with him in my book. Not that he has been bad, but is there someone better suited?

Seems right, pitch Ligon again on the midweek. After pitching Batting Practice for Arizona, he should be fresh.
Ligon out of the Pen last year work pretty good. 15 SEC innings, 200 batting average against, and only 5 runs. And 3 runs were in a single 0.1 inning outing. From the pen, Parker can max his potential

I think that Pruitt will take a spot in the rotation and that eventually we're going to need at least one freshman to step up and take a spot.
It's a matter of time.

From what we?ve seen so far Burns looks like a good candidate for that. Like you said it?s a matter of time.

Once Ligon settled down after the first 2 innings, he managed their lineup. It was just his wildness that cost us the game in the 1st and 2nd innning. I mean when you HBP a run across and then wild pitch another one, then that's all on you. They gave Highfill the PB, but that was all on Ligon. He was all over the place.
