I watch almost every grizzlies game, and I'm telling you nba teams don't hit open 3s at the rate of our opponents. We certainly leave too many open, but we are cursed in luck.

Our basketball is just one big tease. We look like a Final 4 team every once in a while then like worst team in SEC most other nights. They do just enough to keep us hangin on.

1. We WERE a good team, we no longer are
2. The defensive regression has me, for the first time since he got here, questioning if this is Jans limit and who he is as a coach
3. We have no home court advantage, the Hump sucks
4. There has to be locker room issues going on or something. Also wondering if Jans style of coaching wears on players. Melendez is nowhere near the same guy or player he was earlier in year. He has fear in his eyes. Kugel looks high AF and like he could care less. Harris has lost all swagger he started year with. Murphy is worse than start of year. Hubbard is being Hubbard- AAU style volume. Cam hustles but has been year 5 years and no skills developed.

Just disappointed in this team, even if we end up winning.

If you are a legit team- in our position coming off bad loss, at home, playing against a shitty LSU team and you come out like that? Nah you are not doing anything in tourney.

I think Jans coaching style wears them down over the year. Especially now in softer NIL era. I mean he constantly chews their ass, not sure I ever see him pumping them up or being positive I could be wrong.

It's just common sense... the sec has 4 elite teams (Florida, bama,Tenn and auburn). A bunch of good teams (the tourney/bubble teams). And a few decent teams that have to compete with great competition (SC, lsu, and maybe OK/TX). Look at OOC records if you doubt

Oh I have no doubt. We aren't struggling against LSU because they're good. We didn't get bombed by Bama because they are that much more talented than we are. And we surely didn't lose to a better Oklahoma team. These last three games reflect something going on with this team. Don't know what it is but they need to get it figured out quick.
