Human nature for them to have a let down after their big win at Auburn today. Could really get back in this thing with a win

Great analysis Doctor. We wait with baited breath for your next expert analysis. It would be crazy if you said the baseball team needs to win their opening weekend

If you had to bet between UF coming and bombing because they are sleep walking or UF coming in hot and shooting lights out from 3 from the jump, which are you going to choose?

We need to find a way to be 1-1 this week. Simple as that. If we can make it through this week 6-6 in the conference, I really like our chances to get to 10 conference wins. That would put us on the 5-6 line for the NCAAT.

I figure we are underdogs in both games?

Florida opened at -4 and it's dropped to -2.5 at some books. I imagine it closes around that number. Might go half a point up or down.
For OM, We were a -5.5 at home so I would imagine they'll be -1 or pick 'em at home. It may start out at something like -2.5 but I imagine we'll be a 1 pt dog or even line at tip.

We are +2 for tomorrow and at -115 meaning the money is on us early on

ESPN says it opened -2.5 and is now at -1.5
ESPN analytics gives Florida a 55% chance to win

Right, but it opened up, and then they cut it off. Wasn't sure what was going on.

Its time to get a big win at home. We let UK, Bama and most recently Missouri come in and beat us at home. Yes the league is very good but we have to find a way to beat one of these top programs if we want to consider ourselves a legit basketball team.

I see aftermarket ticket prices are low again. Maybe we just play better in an half full hump

We've got to get more attendance from the locals. Those within an hour drive.
Tough for people from Desoto county and Jackson area to drive 4 hours on a weeknight.

I agree it is tough, but living in North Carolina for as long as I have now there is a huge difference in fan bases, especially College basketball. Fans around here show up no matter the record, day of the week or time of day. Obviously the basketball tradition in this state is bigger than Mississippi but I love seeing a huge crowd on t.v. supporting our players, it matters.

Darius Slay announced he will be there. Pretty cool coming right of the Super Bowl.

Stricklin ran a lot of the locals off when he reseated the hump. A lot got pissed their tickets were moved and they have never came back.

We need to start a Legacy Dogs Club for these people. Then when a ticket isn?t being used they are contacted and offered the seats for free or $7.50 in honor of the hump being built in 1975. Then hopefully they come back to support the team and buy tickets again.

Kinda like baseball in Starkville. We can suck in 2022-2023 and still people turn out

Well hell, let him sit on the bench and if we win Selmon could tell him, "How 'bout a little something for the effort, D. Slay?"
