We legit have three guys that could close that no one is talking about besides MSU fans.
Makhai Grant- 98 yesterday
Dane Burns- has been lights out this fall.
Nate Williams- got hit some today but was at 96 MPH.
Add in Gavin Black and we're going to be good to go!

JT Schnoor has looked pretty good too.
Chase Hungate will have a major role as well.

Someone who knows should run through the roster man by man giving layman?s description of them.
A way for us all to get on same page with these players, knowing what their strengths are and what to expect.
I don?t know about any of the me but if someone summarized them it?d. Be easier.

Grant has the best stuff on the team.
Grant is coming off TJ and hasnt thrown 1 inning of college baseball. Buttttttt- to quote one of my favorite movies- "He's got some serious shit".
Tremendous talent that has to be brought along slowly. He can be put in high leverage situations come May. But without a doubt- a damn talented player
And as I have said for 6 months now- our bullpen will be one of if not the best in the SEC

Can you just save this. I know you're going to come in here bitching after every loss. I expect that from you concerning lem. But the lemon head and bitching when we haven't even started gets old. But that's me.

If I were in the coach's shoes I would bring him along exactly like we did Pico last season- except we can start him a lot sooner of course. Which would put him in the weekend rotation earlier as well.
I won't complain if he is used out of the bullpen to start though. He can be transitioned to starting from there as well.

It seems to me like he is more of a starting pitcher. I think he is going to be good but not sure if he starts this year. Maybe some midweek games.
FWIW- the two pitchers I hear mentioned the most as far as newcomers being able to help us among the freshmen are Charlie Foster and Dane Burns.

Grant was widely considered by most of the talking heads to be the best high school pitching prospect to make it to a college campus. Hopefully his arm is healthy and stays that way.
Todd, wasn’t Burns the one that would have likely gone pro but he was hurt his senior year?

I believe Burns is the same age as Grant but sat out of college to rehab from injury on his own. I’m always thinking down the road. I’m wondering how their birthdays fall and if they would be draft eligible after next season.

Neither is draft eligible. Grant barely misses it

Parker says that Burns "profiles like an SEC superstar"
I'm excited about his future

I don't believe so. Burns was drafted by the Royals last draft even after being injured so he had an opportunity to sign out of high school even after being injured.
