I?m no coach but has to find a way to run people off the line into 2 pt jumpers.

That will mean some layups, as well, but gotta find a medium or we are sunk. Teams shoot 3s too well these days. Any space and you?re dead.

In the past our three point defense has been a calling card. Teams have figured it out, though. We always double in the post. Well, they know to kick it out and swing it really fast. Like any good coach, Jans is going to have to be willing to change.

If our guys had played defense like their guys did and offense like their guys did, we'd be singing a different tune. Missouri's talent isn't "that" much better than ours. So the preparation has to be better. our guys played toe to toe with them. Except on defense, rebounding and offense.!

45 percent overall from 3s in our combined 5 losses. I mean wtf are we doing?.

Two of their guys made a combined 5 3 pointers from at least 25 feet. You gotta let them shoot those. Unfortunately they made them. Apparently we don't have a disrupting background behind our goals when our opponents are shooting! 😳😳😳

KY, AL and Mizzou combined are right at 50% on 3s against us which is unreal. I don't believe our guys could hit 50% of their 3s even if there wasn't any defense on the floor at all..

Next Saturday is gonna be very interesting for several reasons, but one is can Jans do anything about this? Gotta a bye on midweek, so should be a great opportunity to work on our perimeter defense.

Jans did talk about having himself and his coaches go back and re-evaluate what was going on. He admitted something is wrong.

The problem with that is that's it's been an issue since the Butler game.

Hopefully this stretch has convinced him to change. It is more than a fluke, it is a strong trend.
