Highfill leading off
Simmons and Grant threw- among others. Still no Loftin
Reese and Sullivan are swinging it well
Said the talent level of the team overall just looks better than last year

There's been a lot of rumblings that Loftin is gonna redshirt this year to try and get completely healthy.
No sure why Siary hasn't thrown yet.

Did he pitch at all last year?
8 innings in 3 appearances but he didn't pitch at all in April or May.

So no weekly threads about how if only Mr first round could pitch the staff would be dominant?

So basically he would be taking his second year of rest if he redshirts this year.

It's all good. Simmons is turning 30 years old this season. Just makes for a more veteran player/staff when he returns next year

The rumor is a shoulder injury.
