Lose on the road to a winless in the SEC Missouri team.

Jordan scored 39 but missed 4 of last 5 free throws and turned it over with 9 seconds and a 77-76 lead. In 3 of the 4 qtrs, State had the ball with shot clock running down and held the ball out front and had no play drawn up to create a late shot. Didn't get a shot off any of those 3 times.

Luckily, I haven't been emotionally involved in WBB since Vic left.

If Cohen wants to come hire Sam Purcell away from us, we should put a bow on him and let him go.

There are 3 former State players playing well for their new team and we have a 6'6" post player who got abused by a 5'10" player including getting 2 shots blocked by that 5'10" player in the last 3 minutes.

There aren't many coaches who can win at women's hoops

Put all wbb resources to football. Or mbb. Or baseball.

As we have seen in other sports, hiring 1st time head coaches rarely works out.

No Jordan slander, she was the pretty much doing it by herself. She scored 40 btw

I mean Sam made the NCAAT and won two games his first year. It sounds like their just very inconsistent right now. I imagine a weak non conference schedule has something to do with that. When you don't have to consistently play 4 quarters until January, it can cause the exact problems it sounds like they're having.

at the end we had 5'5" guarding 6 footer with no help --no wonder we lost. She just dribbled around and shot it over her. Okot standing in the lane looking.

He made the NCAAT with McCray-Penson and Vic?s players. One of those players put up 40 pts and still wasn?t enough. The program has regressed under him. That speaks volumes.

Oh I should have expounded on the point. Not criticizing her. Watching he miss those 4 straight free throws short. It was obvious she was warn slap out. She tried to Will the team to victory and when she made the last turnover she was trying to create a shot prior to shot clock going off and just got her dribble punched out. She had no legs left to get back and help defend. She cannot be expected to do it all! Okot needs a S & C program badly.

i went to the ole miss loss at the hump. i havent watched much wbb since vic left. i used to enjoy watching the games because of the passing, off ball movement, and fundamentals of the women's game. that was nowhere to be found by either team. no clue if that is the new norm or not but it was hard to watch. the women's game, based off what i saw, has turned into a version of bad men's basketball...one point forward dribbling around up top for a majority of the shot clock then taking a bad shot or making a bad pass. again, this was one game but i will not be going back to watch that product.

The biggest gripe I have with her is that she's careless with the ball. She dribbles it low and doesn't really protect it. In the one game I actually watched closely, the OM game at the Hump, her dribbling led to 3-4 TOs. I also saw her dribbling led to the TO last night that gave them the GW possession. Maybe she was just tired, but tired or not, you can't be consistently careless with the ball and not expect bad things to happen.
