I read over and over last football season that the SEC was the toughest conference in the nation and that we just beat each other up in our 8 conference games. Then our reps fell apart in the 12 team playoffs. Now I'm hearing the same thing again, but basketball. Will our SEC teams do better in the NCAA tournament or will we wilt against OOC teams?

I think State will be a 4 or 5 seed and have to play Butler or Xavier. Meanwhile the 7 and 8 seed SEC teams will get great matchups for them.

This was actually a down year in the SEC at the top. Worst Georgia team in at least 5 years. Bama was transitioning and down. Texas wasnt as good offensively. LSU lost the Heisman trophy winner. Oklahoma was down. Tenn had a freshman QB. A&M was transitioning with a new coach.

SEC basketball is stupid good. Right now 4 SEC teams are projected to be in the top 8 seeds. 6 of the top 16 seeds. It's SEC baseball level
