If Kugel set the pick up top for Hubbard ? Couldn?t you

Quickly get it to Kugel if they double Hubbard , setting up a quick 4 on 3 situation , as 2 defenders went with Hubbard.

I?d say the pick to one side of the court Inteads of center too open it up event more , and I?d set it 3 ft behind the 3 or line so defenders get caught further from the goal.

You could do it with Matthew?s too.

teams are just switching that and extending the D to force Hubb to give it up or drive. Hubb is having to use so much energy on the drives alot of his shots end up short.

Josh’s defender never leaves his hip because they know that Cam handling the ball at the top of the key and the big man setting the pick are no threat to shoot the ball. Then when you have the 2 and 3 standing at the 3 point line doing nothing they don’t have to worry about defending the paint. On many of our possessions the ball never even goes inside the 3 point line until there are < 10 seconds remaining.
