The NEZ renderings are exactly what we need. Pages 34-40. Premium seating, connecting the concourses, without adding unnecessary capacity

A few things...
1. South endzone looks great
2. The west side looks like a great renovation (that doesn't seem like many are talking about)
3. On the new indoor football facility part, I find it interesting that on the TV's they all have Dak's image. Hmmmmmmm......

The entire lower bowl needs to be chair backed. Hell, chairback the whole stadium.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned the first bullet point under the West Side Program of Needs. "Replace entire existing lower bowl". Don't know if that means it will be rebuilt with chairback seating but I bet it'll be rebuilt with more entry ramps to the seating to mirror the east side. Even though I don't sit in the lower west bowl, I feel the pain of those that do having to deal with those huge rows to navigate due to too few entry ramps.
It also mentions that they are moving the press box to the East side but nothing is mentioned about it after that. I assume it'll be moved to the top of the East side.

It will never be finished in time.
If you are 70 or older.

This statement is getting old here and on SPS.

That's going to be a massive undertaking but it is needed. That section has literally been there since the 1930's and the ramps are no way ADA compliant. It's amazing we don't have fans taken out by people in wheelchairs and stuff like that because of the extreme angle of the ramps.

This is some pie in the sky visioning. If we see 50% of this completed before I am no longer on this planet I will be very surprised.

I have no idea what that means either. Seems ambiguous on purpose.

The renderings of the south end zone look great. It's simple, doesn't increase the capacity by much, but accomplishes the purpose of bowling in the stadium which as one of the few P4 schools with an open end, is much needed.
Priority for any updates or upgrades needs to be on enhancing the fan experience. We'll never sell out a 70,000 seat football stadium in this day and age. So go all out on improving comfort and the experience you'll get. The biggest competition is the couch, so you've got to make it better than that.

I don?t know if it is exactly what we need, but it better than the Marriot they were going to attach.

The lower bowl is too steep. They are probably doing a pour over.

I wonder how much that would cost? I would suspect MSU finds a way to do something like that to reduce cost.
