QB- Shapen and if he doesn't get through the season Kroemenhoeck. I think we're better here and while Shapen is injury prone he has also made it through seasons before too. So we'll hope for the best but I think we upgraded from Van Buren in Kroemenhoeck.

RB- Booth, Fluff, and Gayten. Pretty solid group and we also have Johnie Daniels coming back too. I think Gayten takes his spot this season though.

WR- Ayden Williams, Anthony Evans, Jaron Glover, Brenen Thompson, Markus Allen, and Cam Thompson give our WR room a nice make over. Then we have Mosley and SanFrisco Magee coming back and maybe Stonka if he isn't at safety. Losing Coleman and Craver sucks but I think we replaced them and I think we are going to be at least as good if not better than last year. We'll see who steps up out of this group but plenty of talent to work with. I like Ayden, and Evans as starters IMO and I think Glover could surprise some people.

TE- Traore with Ball as a H-Back and Emeka Iloh as a red zone/goal line target attached TE. Lots of variety there. I expect Iloh to be pretty raw but he has intriguing measurables. I think Traore could bust out in 2025.

C- Carson Lee- solid center prospect.

G- Jacoby Jackson and then Matthew LeFeau? Jahkeem Shumpert? Feels like we could use some OL in the spring portal.

T- Albert Reese and then do we go Malik Ellis? Jimothy Lewis? Luke Work? Saqon Miles? See comment above. Lots of questions on the o-line that Loadholt is going to have to address.

DL- Will Whitson, Redd Hibbler, Rashein Thomas, and we still have Kai McClendon and added Jamarcus Moye from JUCO. I think Jamil Burroughs is going to be an absolute steal. This group is much improved.

LB- Jennings, Jalen Smith, and Zakari Tillman. I think we can roll with that goup. Especially with Lockhart rotating in.

EDGE- Malik Sylla- We didn't really have anyone with this skill set last year so improved.

CB- Kelly Jones and then some pretty intriguing players. Dwight Lewis and Amarien Jefferson have the potential to surprise. We also have DeAngelo Brumfield. Just an unproven group more than anything but also with a lot of talent. Hopefully the SEC isn't too big of a jump.

S- Isaac Smith was our best player on defense. Really like Tony Mitchell and Jahron Manning. This group appears to be solid. Also have Lanier for depth.

K- Ferrie. Solid kicker.

P- Pulliam? I guess we're going wait and see and will try to find a punter in the portal if needed.

KR/PR Thompson.

Overall I think we're better. Let's hope the schedule doesn't kill us.

Good analysis but disagree on a few spots.

WR room is not better. Hard to lose the two best guys and replace them with potential (but not production) and say it?s better. I hope you are correct.

CB room. Man, I just do not see much there. I appreciate your optimism, but who outside of Kelley Jones do we see having any talent?

You forgot Jesse Ramil - the LT we got from James Madison. Probably our starting LT or RT.

I think the schedule's going to kill us record wise. The question is are we going to look like competitive in most games. Not necessariliy a threat to win even. Just look like we belong in the same conference at least in the toughest games and take care of business against G5.

We lost potential from Craver as well, not production. 17 catches on the season. He could blow up at A&M or he could be RaRa or Zavion.

Pretty sure Malik Ellis was at center this past fall that he redshirted

Nice post. I think the TE position is up for grabs. The past group was too inconsistent. Also, the transfer LB's start imo.

Inconsistent sure, but at least they werent invisible like under the 2 previous staffs. Traore and Shapen can be a good combination if he can address his dropsies.

ugh that WR and CB room both scare the hell out of me. WR room is all guys who couldn't get on the field elsewhere because lingering injuries or buried on depth chart. CB just nobody who has ever played much, hopefuly they adapt quick. OL i'm thinking Deion bounces and we end up with a bit more there in spring

WR I think we will be fine because of the volume that they are going to get in this offense. Some of the receivers are young too- which means they have multiple years of eligibility.

yeah its not the play or volume that scares me with that group, I think pretty much all of them were 4 stars so they have talent. But 2 of those in Evans and the Oklahoma kid have trouble staying healthy

We played Work and Lewis a lot at the tackle spots last year with Reese at guard. We have a new coach but I feel this is something we may see more of. Lewis just needs more reps he looks to be very solid.
