I am ready to anoint him. He is that good. The only thing that will keep him from getting it is him. Meaning, he would leave for a better job. Jans is way more highly thought of in coaching circles than Richard, Rick, or even Howland. I mean it still shocks any coach you talk to that we made the tournament in 22-23 with a team that legitimately was the worst 3 pt shooting team in the country. Every coach I have talked to at the Final 4 in the years since we got Jans has said the same thing, “Give him 4 years, he will have you in the Final 4”. They say he is the second best coach, behind Pearl, in the SEC.
