Draymond has a little more offensive game but outside of that, they both play pretty similar. They are active, they rebound, assist, steal, vocal leaders etc. All the little things make them really good players but it doesn't always show up on the stat sheet, especially offensively.

Yea that wasn't the compliment Pope thinks it was, if he was indeed trying to compliment him. He basically said he's a crybaby, instigator, throws temper tantrums on the court, and assaults his teammates. Mo Alie-Cox is probably the comparison honestly. And just like him, Matthews needs to switch to football. If he can catch, he could have a decent career in the NFL.

Agreed. Cam Mathews could be a Mid round type of TE guy or a legit gigantic outside receiver like Megatron. Just imagine some speedy 5-10 guy trying to cover him..... TDs all day.

I don't know if he'd even get drafted, but I think he'd easily make a 53 man. The guy is 6'7, runs like a deer, and is 230 of damn near pure muscle. I said it with De'Runnya all the time, you can't teach 6'6. And with Cam, you can't teach 6'7.

Probably not fair to compare somebody running around a basketball court to somebody running in pads on a football field, but Cam looks more athletic to me. I assume the smart play for him is to make money overseas, but it seems like his upside in football might be better.

Oh he's athletically a freak. His potential upside in football is off the charts. He is what he is from a basketball standpoint.
