With all of the SEC is dead talk, do yall expect 2025 to be a different story. I think there are many teams in the conference that are going to be much better due to having more experience or just flipping their rosters. Just wanted to see how others view other teams going into next year.

Alabama-TBD. Lot of talent on offense, but need to see what happens at QB. Defense also needs to improve
Auburn-Should be improved solely off the talent they have brought in. Do not know if that'll be enough to save Rev. Freeze though.
Arkansas-Will be worse
Florida-Another year with Sunbelt Billy and an experienced QB. Will probably be a playoff contender.
UGA-TBD. Kind of at the end of the talent cycle and need to figure out the QB and WR positions. They could take a step back.
Kentucky-Will be about the same or worse.
LSU-Will be about the same. If they get good breaks, 10-2. If they get bad breaks, 8-4. Kelly probably is gone without a playoff appearance next year.
State-We will be better defensively. If we can be the same offensively as last year, we will be markedly better.
Missouri-Will probably take a step back. Replacing Cook and Burden is no easy task and I don't think the Penn St transfer and Kevin Coleman can replace that production.
Oklahoma-Could be slightly better, could be slightly worse. I think they move off Venables at the end of the year.
Ole Miss-TBD. Will probably take a step back due to all the production they have to replace.
USCe-Will be about the same. Will contend for a playoff birth but their schedule does them no favors.
Tennessee-Will probably take a small step back. I could see them anywhere between 7-5 to 9-3. They are going to have to replace a lot defensively and Iamaleava needs to start maturing as a QB.
A&M-will be 7-5 to 8-4. It's like clockwork. They also are bringing in a bunch of WRs for an offense that is run based.
Texas-Probably will be better with Arch than with Ewers.
Vandy-They will come back to Earth a bit. They wont be overlooked by anyone next year.

All in all, I still expect the SEC to get 2-4 playoff teams. You can definitely start to see the parity catching up with blue bloods in this conference.

I agree with most of those predictions. I could see South Carolina, Florida, or LSU stepping up and taking a playoff spot. I think auburn has the talent to have a good year. I could also see Oklahoma being much improved.

This is the first year in a long time I can say that the big 10 was top to bottom better than the SEC. It really is not even close.

EDIT: Forgot to add my response to the OP.

I think that the SEC had a lot of question marks at QB that were answered this year with young talent. The SEC will be much improved next year, with better QB play.

Auburn doesn't have the coach to have a good year

I just don't see it. They lost a ton and didn't really replace anything outside of Arnold. And I don't think Mateer and a new offense is going to magically make them better. They also have an awful schedule. @Tenn, @Bama, @USCe, Texas, OM, LSU, and Michigan. That's ROUGH. For all the favors the SEC gave Texas, they did the exact opposite for Oklahoma.

What I find so interesting about OK’s new coordinator is how wash state produced the number 1 qb out of the portal two years in a row. Either real luck or he can find overlooked talent and coach it up.

I think he knows how to scheme QBs. He's on the fast track to be the next Lincoln Riley. And just like Lincoln, if he succeeds at OU, he'll be a HC in very short order.

Mateer is better than Jackson on better team.

Well, this will certainly be interesting; I wonder if it will require a C-Section. I hope they get the other type.

Auburn and Fla will take a step forward in 2025
Georgia, Bama, Tenn, LSU, Texas will still be around the top of the SEC. SC likely competes for a playoff spot
Mizzou takes a step back.
Mississippi will be pretty good but not as good as they were in 24
2025 will be Pittman's last at UPig most likely as they fight State/Kentucky/Candy to stay off the bottom

Our likely SEC losses are all at home in 25 with the toss ups on the road. Another fight to get to 6-6 for us

It's definitely going to be a fight. I think we may be able to pick off one or two of those home games though.

Good write up. As far as MSU I think our offense will be better because of the fact that in 24 our defense was so putrid teams would literally go Army/Navy on us at times and just hold the ball and run the clock out.

An improved defense should get more stops for the offense and that should lead to more possessions which will lead to more points in theory.

Plus historically Lebby's offenses have taken big jumps between year one and two. Really just have to get some more receivers from the portal now to take the top off of defenses at this point.

I wanted us to hire Arbuckle to replace Leach. If we had we still might have Arnett as our head coach. I think he will improve Oklahoma quite a bit.

I want to see how Tennessee replaces all the production they are losing on both sides as well as what the hell UGA does at QB and WR. Because Stockton and their current group will not win 8 games next year.

They were closer to winning 8 this year than they were 12. Again, I need to see what he does offensively to see if he will be like Saban in the mid 2010s. I just do not know that he will. Kirby has grown to an arrogance that we never saw from Saban.

Give him a year and some of those receivers that Dart had and yes he might.
