Yea, he saw the TCU thread and reassured fans that he didn?t entertain TCU and there are upgrades to DWS coming and his team is announcing it soon. He is giving away swag gifts. Whatever that is.

He will probably send a polo and a hat out. Good on him for doing all that. Better man than me. There are a few that just tweet in17cessantly at him that I would just troll the hell out of honestly. I mean if some people have nothing better to do than tweet at the damn AD MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY, they need to reevaluate some things.

Quick Selmon/Switzer story. Back in 70’s I was coaching in Natchez. I had a very good friend who was a big Oklahoma fan. North Natchez has a great running back named James Berry. My friend calls Switzer about Berry. So Switzer and Lucius Selmon (he was assitants) fly down and my friend ask me to ride with him to pick them up in Baton Rouge. That night my friend had the cook at Cock of the Walk (it first started in Natchez under the hill) to come fry fish and make all there sides for dinner at his house. The stories Switzer told and especially Lucius told about him growing up with his 2 others brothers were so funny. They shared the same bed in there home in Ok and rode in a wagon to town as kids. What a night! Oh, at the end of dinner Switzer ask my friend if he could borrow his car to take Berry home. Later I ask my friend what was that about and he told me they were making a deal for Berry, LOL. Well it wasn’t enough and Berry went to Tn, he stayed banged up most of his career.

Lucius Selmon was their Melvin Smith. Bag man extraordinaire. He was the MS recruiter on that staff because he was big in the Marcus Dupree recruitment.

Wow I remember that name. He and Rooster Jones from Pascagoula were 2 great high school RBs. Rooster went to Pitt along with that guy from North Natchez, Hugh Green if I'm not mistaken.

Hugh Green was awesome. I had a friend who was OC at North Natchez. He used to to call me to go watch film with him reviewing their games. North Natchez was loaded with talent back in the mid 70’s. Danny Knight who played at MSU also played at North Natchez.

Hugh Green with Johnie Cooks, Glen Collins, and Tyrone Keys and Billy Jackson is scary to think about.

Rooster would have been in the same backfield with Michael Haddix.

Would have been even more ridiculous than it was for us.

James Berry and Rooster Jones were incredible running backs. So was Haddix.

If he cared about the fans we would have the interlocking logo on our helmets

damn. Danny Knight was a baller

Natchez has some skill talent. Off my 2020 offense the TB and 3 WR's went juco and are moving on to other schools from there

As awesome as Jackie was- telling Jerry Rice he was too slow for Miss State and McNair he needed to play DB not QB were his 2 biggest mistakes at State

We could have had some incredible players at State that got away
