There was an interview the head of Ole Miss NIL collective did a couple of months ago that someone linked on here where he said they spent about 14-17 million on roster. Does anybody remember what show that was on or can they link it?

I'm pretty sure it was Bo Bounds and in typical Ole Miss fashion I'm sure he was exaggerating how much they spent and after basically bragging about how they figured things out they lost to Kentucky.

It was Bo Bounds.

This was supposed to be "The Season" for them. College football playoffs and a chance at a Natty.

Kentucky flushed it down the toilet.

My sons go to school with Walker's kids. I would not wish that job (over NIL) on anyone...stressful and infuriating are not adequate words to describe that job.

He is but not nearly enough. I know some people that know Walker really well and the shit he has to deal with on a daily basis would make your head spin. And I am sure Charlie deals with the same. Like bench players and backups wanting to renegotiate their deals. I know OM had to redo Judkins NIL deal 4 different times last year AFTER THE SEASON BEGAN.

I'm not surprised. And not surprised that they apparently paid up since I don't think anyone sat out of the Egg Bowl that I can recall. And against a 2-10 MSU team at that.
