Scary Moment - USC vs USC Upstate

I was watching this game just a few minutes ago. Upstate player goes up for a dunk and gets undercut. He lands on the back of his neck. One of the other Upstate players rushes to him and immediately starts imploring him to breathe. They immediately cut away from the game. When they finally come back from break they are taking him off the court on a stretcher. The announcers say he is conscious. Praise God!

I would have swore he broke his neck.

That reminds be maybe in the late 80's, Ohio State had guard, Burleson, who got cut on a drive. He had to wear a traction brace for 3 months.
