Arnold, Shapen, and KT would be a great QB room.

What's huge about it? The guy is made of glass. If we got even 4 games out of him it would be a miracle.

If we dont get Arnold and MVB transfers and you don?t think having Shapen is huge then idk what to tell you. If we get Arnold also huge to have a backup that can win you a game or two if Arnold goes down a couple weeks.

The dude can't stay on the field. If you are seriously counting on him then not sure what to tell you. Might be good to have him as an emergency backup but no way can he be counted on as a starter.

Having him in the QB room is a win- depending on the price. You dont pay full price for something that doesnt work very often. He is a very good insurance policy.

We have to keep MVB or land Arnold. 1 of those has to happen.

Relaxxxx guys get injured. He got banged up at Baylor then came back and threw for 300 yards in a brace. He got an unlucky break here with the shoulder and by all accounts is healthy next year. We lose Arnold, he is our starter unless Lebby pulls a rabbit out a hat. Arnold comes here and gets banged up he is a starter level backup and can win you a few games. Its a huge positive for us

Huh? He took over as a freshmen in 2021, started every game in 2022 including a bowl, missed 4 games in 2023. He came back from the MCL sprain in 2023 and threw for 300 first game back

Exactly, Shapen is a backup and needs to be paid accordingly. If he is our starter next year, we're looking a 2-10 again AND will be starting over at QB in 2026.

I think Shapen would do fine with better OL play and a competent D.

We don't plan on needing 4 games from our backu. Of course, anything can happen.

If Shapen is your backup, that?s a pretty solid advantage if your QB1 goes down.

He’s been unlucky. That’s for sure.
