I would love to be in the SEC middle class.

Yeah - everyone has 8 digit NIL coffers in the SEC. We aren't unique.

This shit will become unsustainable in a few years because donors will tire of shelling out money for this. The NCAA will have to put Caps on NIL. Then we can go back to the old ways of hundred dollar handshakes.

If this guy is a stud, then the top price is $1.5?

Let's do this:

1 Semi stud $800k
2 decent $350k

$1.35 M total for a good DL.

Ehh USCe overpaid on this one. He would've fetched about 650-800 on the open market.

I disagree. For a true freshman, he was impactful. I would be happy to have paid him 1 million to play at MSU next year as opposed to two average DL portal guys that are going to cost close to 700K.

Well that's because we would've had to overpay because of how bad we were.

We can't even get a QB that wants Lebby to develop him. Just turn off the shitty lights a DWS.

Really Clark?

Probably 2 years. Since he's a true Freshman it would be for two years and paid in monthly installments. At least that's how we do ours.

For everyone that is overpaid, the dollar value for all goes up. Rarely goes back down and then becomes the norm. Ask MLB. College football is a shit show and about to get much worse. Wait until they form a players union. Lolz! I mean isn't $40K a year as a starting LB at 19 years old plenty?!?

Agree. NCAA football is not the gov where they just print more money. There is only so much money out there. There will be some burn the furniture moments at some schools over this money pit.

Attendance continues to dwindle everywhere. Does everyone really think people are going to keep shelling out $$ with no return? Everyone's money will run out.
