OM paid alot of monet' to go to Jacksonville. Well it's better investment than LSU. The next Nick Saban gets them to Houston. Safe to say that if LSU doesn't get to the CFP then Kelly will be gone.

I don't know. He has a really big buyout.

They may have to give him a couple of years before they pull the trigger.

This is LSU... they'll just cancel a few orders of chemo for the children's hospital and funnel the money into the buyout.

Wouldn't put it past then. They did it once and did get away with it and can again. And if Dave Aranda beats them in the bowl game his butt will be burning. Right Now USCe is gonna get the Moneyball award.

Todd graves is an UGA alum, he's not putting $'s up to get rid of Kelly. THe buyout for Kelly is ridiculous and he'll be there for a while unless they can find a way to fire him for cause.

Going to be interesting to see how many of these new day mercenaries and those NFL draft types opt out for these non playoff games. Several teams may have problems having a roster at all except for subs at many positions.

The main reason I like the 12 team playoff is that it prevents opt outs from the top teams. The bowl games outside of the 4 team playoff got so bad with it the past few years. I didn’t even have any interest in watching because teams with the most opt outs lost. Outside of Bama and Ole Miss I’m not sure many non playoff teams will have a lot of NFL guys so I don’t think it will make much difference in the smaller bowls. Bama and Ole Miss must feel very disappointed with their seasons considering the talent. They are kind of going through what we did in 2018 with Moorhead

I really imagine Kiffin has peaked. I don’t think he gets them there and he goes somewhere else before he is ever able to. He will likely not have an opportunity like this year in awhile.

He had the players and schedule and still couldn't do it with a down sec year.

Losing to a non-bowl eligible team while you have possibly the greatest QB your school has ever had is tough work. I imagine the Kentucky loss keeps Lane up at night. But he’s about where Dan was when he peaked. Yeah, they’ve had more ten win seasons than we did, but that’s not the point. When we didn’t get over the Hump in 2014 we slowly got worse and never came close again. I imagine the same thing happens with them. Slight decline every year until Kiffin has worn out his welcome.
