That loss doesn't look as bad now. It seems other teams have a hard time slowing down Skattebo.

We have played a gauntlet of a schedule, looking back. 4 playoff teams at their place. (If ASU wins today).

Our schedule was maybe the toughest schedule in our history. That schedule with our ?talent? combined with first year HC was a tall order, BUT I expected us to be 6-6 this past year. ASU game opened my eyes (along with many others) to how bad this could be, and then Toledo rolled our ass! Game-set-match?.we?re going 2-10. The only thing I wanted to see after that was game to game improvement.

If they're going to kick players out for what used to be a textbook hit then they need to start banning concrete fields cause they cause more concussions than hits.

A lot of yall said they sucked when we lost to them. Doesn't make us good by any means but Skattebo you could tell was a beast

They were picked to finish last in the big 12. So the loss did feel awful at the time.

What a job they did in the portal. I half ass hope they win it all.

I get what you?re saying, but the hit on Becht is the exact reason that targeting rule exists. He launched, crown first into his head?.no brainer! If he would have hit him below the shoulders it would?ve been legal.

Yep. Had he buried his face mask in his chest instead of head/neck. He wouldn't have been ejected. The QB did dip a bit right before contact, so it was a tough call.

Of course we get stuck having to play them again next year.

It was easily the toughest schedule in MSU history. I give Lebby a pass based on that. No coach was going bowling with our schedule.

I re-watched some games yesterday.. bored out of my mind and cold as piss outside.

We were not as bad as our record shows and we hardly had a defensive stop in the big games.

If we had half of a defense, we win 2-3 more games.

Who knows what some early wins do to this team regarding confidence. I like what Lebby did on signing day. One of our better classes (in recent history) following that pathetic year.

I would have rather Hutzler be gone, but he wasn't given a fair shake. A lot of guys on this board opened my eyes, our defensive depth and talent was the worst in the league by a good margin. He has to do better next year or he is gone for sure.
