Mexico and Texas system schools for defensive linemen? I have a dark cloud type feeling that getting players to our program is like trying to sell The Lost Books of the Bible in the middle of a shopping mall.

There should be enough talent in Mississippi and surrounding states to recruit HS defensive players here so we can build long term. The portal is for finding relief, short term, at critical positions. And they should be major talent not some MAC player who gets his asss blown off the LOS. Use the portal for everything and it's 2001-2003 all over again.

Arizona State isn?t where they are today without the portal. They have added 61 players via the portal over the last two years. More than 75% of their starters and 50% of their depth has come from the portal.
Colorado also isn?t 10-2 without remaking their team in the portal.
It took both teams two cycles to do it.

Well if we can get Mike Portnoy to fork over Millions so we can sign the next Travis Hunter and if Deion has anymore sons lying around then we might be successful at it also/
