Welp, back to crowds of 75-100. At least we got a sense of what it's like to compete.

Let?s be honest, it?s women?s soccer, what do you expect?
We aren?t a powerhouse in that sport from what I know and they are probably more willing to pay more.

I don't even think State is a destination job for Baseball any more. Cohen did have to settle for Lemonis after all.😂😂😂

Solid point. We hired our 7th-8th choice

I know nothing bout soccer but I read where our AD didn’t waste anytime naming Zimmerman who was the assistant. His resume was pretty solid. Seems like the best thing to do with our solid girls team. Assitants are more involved in building relationships with recruits in the signing process.

There may be sometime way way way down the line that Stricklin is welcome back on campus but I don't see any way Cohen can be. I would love to know the percentage of his hires at Auburn that come from State.

We were ranked #2, made it to the Sweet 16 and set numerous school attendance records. We would have had a chance at a championship if not for some late injuries. Shame on some of y'all for not knowing such significant happenings with one of our sports programs. Do better.

No way. Not Stricklin or Cohen.

Never. No idea what had Cohen leave. Glad he did but he doesn?t come across as ?family? any longer.
Strick. Same for
Him.

Yes. They were undefeated in regular season conference play.

Is it even a destination job for baseball? I know we have some good success in baseball but are top notch coaches trying to kick the door down to coach our baseball program? Every other coach who has had major success has left us... It pisses me off too

We need to find the absolute best "single" Coach in every sport and hire him and hope he marries a local girl who never wants to leave "Momma" and she also prefers small town living and shopping at DG, FD, Walmart, and Kroger and Maroon is the primary color in her color wheel of fashion!

Once again we hire a head coach who's never been a head coach. I'm starting to question if we have the right folks directing our athletics program.

Our children will live to see soccer become the preeminent sport here like it is in the rest of the world. American football will die a slow death.

Saw a video of Zimmerman at the pre game basketball game, his "excitement" running and jumping around made me want to watch soccer** I liked it, again his resume is very good.

Armstrong had never been a head coach when he came here either. It worked out OK.
Personally I think Zim is the right guy for the job. He's going to do well here and will stay here even after having success. We are going to be good.

We actually made it to #1 and then lost to USC in SECT. Still kept #1 seed for NCAAT. Not allowing a goal at home all year until loss is unreal.

Zim was getting a HC job this year anyway. He had already interviewed with Oregon
