And it has been enjoyable, relaxing and fun watching quality football that I never saw either in Starkville or State in TV including the Eastern KY and UMass games where State sputtered and stuttered against inferior talent. Others may claim different but this was the worst played football season by MSU these 70 plus year old eyes have ever seen. And I have seen all the other 9 and 10 loss seasons since the 60's!

We definitely take the cake on bad, but I'd argue there's more bad football being played now than ever. The way free agency is going you're going to continue to see teams have a ton of inconsistency throughout the year

Let?s be honest, Lebby most likely has no damn clue about running the team as ahead coach, but the talent is abhorrent outside of WR and QB. Hopefully, he learns quickly.

One other thing that imo is affecting the quality of play and the inconsistency is that players are playing solely for the almighty dollar. I know a lot of players were being paid under the table before NIL. But now the dollar is the driving force that a player chooses a school to play for and lesser degree playing time.
I have seen several players on our team and other teams refuse to make a tackle head on or tackling by wrapping up. Many attempt to tackle by pushing the opposing player down without actually getting involved the tackle. To me the reason for this is NIL and portal. Get hurt tackling you could lose your nil and be unable to enter the portal.

Ole Miss isn't in the hunt unless you're talking about the Outback Bowl. No way they jump Alabama.

Watch they put Miami in/ One question is most team not in the top 4 would be playing in major bowls and getting paid big bucks. What is the payment for the teams who don't get a bye?

They're in the 12-15 range. I don't think they make it, but they're in the hunt for sure

Good question. Does the NCAA split ticket sales for opening round among all playoff teams?
