Texas (-5.5) at aTm
Auburn at bama (-11.5)
Miami (-10.5) at Syracuse
ND (-7) at USC
South Carolina at Clemson (-3)
Tenn (-10) at vandy
We probably need to be pulling for Miami, ND, Clemson, and Tenn to keep OM out.

aTm beating Texas is probably a good thing too as far as making sure OM is left out

You really think the Bear Sharks will get in with 3 losses with none of the teams who beat them sitting in the top 20 now?

We need to see where South Carolina is on Tuesday. Ole Miss may have to jump them too.

OM aint getting in with 3 loses. They are done. UGA, Texas, Tenn are in with wins. Im not sure who the 4th one will be or if there will even be a 4th one...

I think you are correct but...
I bet the 10-11-12 seeds are wide open. Wonder how conference championship loses are handled. Let's say Tex beats UGA. Does UGA get knocked out after playing a tough game that Miami, Boise, SMU, Ariz State and Indiana could never win?

Lots of football left to play. You know OM is going to try and run up the score big on us to try and get that final playoff spot. We better hope Tenn beats Vandy or OM could still get in taking their spot.

You don't have to worry about Mississippi getting in the CFP. They are out. A 3 loss Bama would get in over them anyway. Also, I'm pretty sure an 11-2 Tulane would jump them. I'm pretty sure the committee/ESPN doesn't want a 3 loss team in, but if it does it's Bama. In fact, I'd feel pretty confident if Saban were still there that 9-3 Bama would get in.

Maybe so but there are a few reasons why Saban left and one is he probably foresaw that Bama can't compete with Texas or some other big pockets schools who will raid his stable. There are 4 money tiers of football now and that is all that matters. And Bama is probably in the 2nd tier. No need to tell you where MSU stands.

Not sure. Milroe would still be the QB because it is obvious they do not have a decent backup this year.
And Milroe is their entire offense. He leads the team in rushing. And he doesn't play defense or special teams so he cannot cover those mistakes. However, I doubt they would have lost to Vandy!

OM's losses are now to KY, LSU, and FL. Not an impressive resume at all, even if they put up 75 on us it won't help them.

After the 2022 baseball run, it's best not to speak in absolutes.
- SoCarolina beating Clemson is definitely possible giving both teams their 3rd loss;
- HughBaby finding magic to beat the suddenly offensively-challenged Crimson Tide is doable, handing Bama a 4th loss;
- Vandy beating UT in Nashville is certainly doable, handing UT a 3rd loss;
Suddenly you have UGA and Texas and a host of 3-loss SEC teams vying for a 3rd SEC spot (including SoCarolina). OM handedly beat SoCarolina 27-3 on the road and may be the top 3-loss team. So saying "OM aint getting in with 3 losses" isn't so far-fetched.
Now I don't believe they will get in with 3 losses, but then I didn't think they'd win the BB championship in 2022 either. Crazy things seem to happen with that bunch.

-USCe could definitely beat Clemson. USCe may be the best team in the league right now with how they are playing.
-Auburn won't beat Bama in T-Town.
-Tennessee will beat Vandy. That D Line will suffocate Pavia. And even in Nashville, it will be a Tennessee home game.

Totally discounting Bama's and UT's late-season offensive inabilities. It's the Iron Bowl and STRANGE things happen. Vandy fighting for bowl seeding in a rivalry game will also be a thing. Again, I'm just cautioning about talking in absolutes.

If the game was at Auburn I might give them a chance. In Tuscaloosa? The refs won't let Bama lose that one. SEC still needs 4 teams in the playoff.

Ole Miss losses are too bad. They have by far the worst 3 losses of any teams in contention and had the easiest schedule.
Doesn?t help their last test is against the worst Power 4 team. Suck it Rebs.

I've said since it happened that the UK loss would keep them out of the playoffs. That's the difference right now between them and Bama and A&M. They lost to a 4-7 UK team AT HOME. Bama has 3 losses (@Vandy, @Tennessee, @OU) and A&M has 3 losses (ND, @USCe, @Auburn). That UK loss AT HOME will be the difference.

My prediction-
(Byes)
1. Ohio St.
2. Georgia
3. SMU
4. Boise St
5. Oregon vs 12. Arizona St.
6. Texas vs 11. Clemson
7. Penn St. vs 10. Indiana
8. Notre Dame vs 9. Tennessee
Win and in- Clemson, Indiana, Tennessee.
If Tennessee loses we could very well see 3 ACC teams and only 2 SEC.

One other thing about the schedule that SEC this morning brought up was look at their OC Schedule. That will be another bite them in the ass demerit.

We will know more Tuesday but if you go by the AP poll which has been basically the same as CFP rankings, there is about 7 teams that would have to lose for OM to get in and some of those teams play cupcakes and a couple play each other. There is also teams like UScar and TA&M behind them that would jump them with a win. I mean is it possible? Sure. But extremely improbable. They are done.

Well and they play us. They are in a lose/lose situation. If they beat us by 100 then that's what they were supposed to do, but if it's even remotely close or by a miracle from above we win then they are not the same team that beat UGA and will be treated accordingly.

I think the following would have to happen for OM to get in
Tennessee loss to Vandy
Indiana loss to Purdue
Clemson loss to USCar (but needs a UScar loss too)
Texas A&M loss to Texas
Alabama loss to Auburn
Iowa St. loss to Iowa
BYU loss to Houston
AZst loss to Arizona
Colorado win against Ok St

OM also lost to LSU whom Bama beat badly. Bama is ahead of OM if they beat AU.

How embarrassingl Didn't we win 9 games two years ago?!? "I'd rather watch paint dry than watch Leach's offense." Lolz.. well I hope you've enjoyed the last 2 years. Give me Leach's shitty recruiting for D (which he left up to the DOC, btw) and let's get back to having a chance to beat any team (sans Saban led Bama) every week.
Cue the Leach haters and "he put us in this position". This isn't 1980, our entire team can be switched out in a year. Just like ASU and others have done.

ASU Year 1: 3-9/ASU Year 2: 9-2
ASU was a two year turnaround. Recruits have to believe you're going to be there. I still don't think our fans understand NIL. It's not just who has the most money or best offer. These kids still want to win. And what could we sell last year? "Well we lost a bunch, our staff just got here a few weeks ago, but hey come on and play for us!!" We actually can sell a vision this offseason. We can sell a plan of what building this thing looks like.
