I got a call from the Bulldog club today. They wanted me to change my donations from BI to SEF. He basically summed it up to be BI is more corporate sponsorship and SEF is more for the personal donor.

Is this correct?
I'm so confused now. Do I need to stop with the BI and move that over to the SEF like he suggested?

Yes. Plus the SEF is tax deductible.

The SEF will fund players going forward through both donations from donors like yourself and university money (revenue sharing).

So all small time, personal donors should move their donations to the SEF?

Say bye bye to sport specific donations and hello to helping cover the settlement and back pay.

We need to bring a case against the ncaa about how they've screwed everything up. They make millions for doing nothing really. We need some of that money to pay players because their ineptitude.

And no in not against paying them something bout this is crazy how is currently is. The ncaa has had time now to fix it and are sitting on their hands

Yes. You should have received an email about it from the bulldog club. If not, you should receive a call.

The NCAA will never come off that TV money. This is what the players and their lawyers wanted. But the NCAA quickly changed the rules about paying players overtly to take the onus off them and the universities and put it on the back of the fans. Sounds like a RICO and anti trust class action lawsuit, Dickie you reading this?

No College Football specifically, and college sports as a whole at the FBS level, need to break away from the NCAA and form their own entity. Tie to the CFP and just have sport specific committees to form tournaments. Have someone like Saban, Sankey, etc be the overall commissioner of the entity.

I stopped my BI and switched it over to State Excellence Fund. Let's hope it makes some kind of difference for our football program so we don't go back to the stone ages (or are we in it now?)

Concur, but I don't know if the Big 10 would sign off on either of the aforementioned people as CFB commissioner. Who are some other choices?

You could appease them and go get Kevin Warren, old Big10 commissioner and now President of the Bears. Gene Smith at tOSU could be a good one as well. Jim Delaney as well.

I moved mine from NIL to BC. The website for moving it is not very user friendly. I called the phone number and they were able to get it done easily. Then Charlie's bunch notified me that the NIL contribution would cease. You can cease it on the NIL website as well.
