Someone tell Napier when you are down by 14 you go for the TD on 4th and goal. And Florida resigned him this week. Gator Chomp.

Not sure bout resigning him, vote of confidence means nothing except 26 million dollar buyout. But they may have some extra money from the men’s basketball program soon. Can’t imagine Napier being in Gainesville after the season.

That's right...not getting fired. Maybe they're looking at cost of the buyout.

They only put that out because of recruiting

I can’t see Florida keeping Napier after this season. They will most likely end 5-7 and I can’t see them keeping him after that. They really need to do what they can to get Kiffin after this season. If Kiffin says no they need to go with a proven P4 coach

And the backup goes straight down the field. Dart draft stock might be falling

Looks like Georgia is about to get run off the field. Wish we had the marketing, booster buy in, and NIL to support getting great players.

The fact that show our big boosters thinking the issue at State right now. Now buy-in or plan just hope the other teams mess up so we have a chance.

This is an interesting year because I think OSU and Oregon are the two most complete teams and not an SEC team.

Rumor is Florida was in talks with Kiffen agent and it started falling apart so they are keeping Napier now. No clue if this is accurate

Florida could be decent next year though. This season is a wash, but they will get some coveted pieces in the portal.

They’ve been borderline all year. Subpar for Georgia definitely. They will lose to TN and GT also.

What happens when you have the following scenario. LSU, UGA, Ole Miss, Mizzou, Bama, Texas, aTM, Tenn all 6-2 in SEC play who goes to the title game and playoff?

Only way to stop that train is to donate to nil or they'll continue sweeping the state with the best players. They build a base off that and qb and fill the rest with transfer players.

There’s been a lot of money going to NIL. Just not being managed well it seems.

I assume you mean on who the money is spent on?

Yes. And which sports are garnering the focus. It appears our administration lacks insight regarding game day atmosphere, sports marketing, and strategic planning. This combined with our big boosters apparent lack of interest in really competing in the SEC has signaled to many mid-level donors that what little ROI there is in financing MSu sports is beginning to crumble. I believe you will begin to see a lot of sports donation money begin to be redirected to academics (which is also faltering considerably). As I said last week, we have a small collective comprised of lifelong friends/MSU fans that are looking hard at moving our funds after this season for a multitude of reasons I will spell out in the offseason.

Dawgology

yes, how are NIL funds being mismanaged?

When I say mismanaged I don’t refer to technical issues or accounting practices. Those are fine we have plenty of money. What we need to be asking is why do we have money but we aren’t getting the right athletes. What do you think would cause that?
