Last week was without a doubt a setback. It felt like we were building and stacking performances together and last week was going to be the payoff....Update: It was not. It felt like the 2016 Arkansas game. We have a long ways to go and Saturday could be our last opportunity for a win. I got us 48-27. I think it's close into the half and we pull away in the 2nd half.

I would love those things to happen but think the short term probability of either is low. Righting this ship is going to be an ocean long sail unfortunately.

Of course conditional hypotheticals are dangerous when it comes to sports. But if Toledo beat us (we know this answer unfortunately) and Toledo beat UMass (38-23 actually), then the conclusion would not favor us.

And then we throw in that Toledo is 5-3 (2-2) with losses to Bowling Green, Buffalo and Western KY. And they sit 7th out of 12 teams in the MAC.

Still saying we win. Objectively hard to imagIne us losing; it's not SUPPOSED to happen. But it gives any lifelong State fan pause for concern.

Zona is pretty weak and too early to tell if fisch ever gets washington back to where they were either.

Not gonna disagree. All three are former head coaches and good recruiters too.
